There is never any reason to go through your Wiedemann-Steiner diagnosis alone.
Whether you have received a diagnosis yourself, or you are caring for someone with WSS, it’s important to know there are people like you – in your situation – you can talk to.
As WSS is still such a rare condition, and as research is ongoing, finding support has been difficult for thousands of people. Not just in the UK, but in the US and Europe, too!
That’s why NWSS Warriors exists. We want to bring people together to share their questions, their stories, and to help build better lives for those who need care.

NWSS warriors actually started life on Facebook, and hundreds of families and individuals have joined our little group to help grow it into an amazing support network.
We believe that social media can be a force for genuine good and support – and through our private group, we regularly share photos, moments, and ask each other questions. It’s so important that we learn from one another!

We understand that receiving a WSS diagnosis is a life-changing event – and one that is of course likely to be very confusing. As NWSS Warriors, we live with this complex condition – whether on our own, or through caring for others.
